Installing a MetaMask Wallet

MetaMask is a cryptocurrency wallet that allows you to interact with the Ethereum blockchain.

MetaMask is a self-custodial wallet that provides a gateway to blockchain applications. Current supported browsers include Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge and Opera.

Install

1. Install MetaMask in browser (Download MetaMask)

Create an account

1. Click on the Create a new wallet button

2. Create a password of min 8 characters

3. Click on Secure my wallet

4. Write down your Secret Recovery Phrase (Losing this information will cause you losing access to your funds, please store the 12-word Recovery Phrase safely)

Simply use the same process to install MetaMask Wallet on your mobile phone

Sync your wallet on MetaMask browser to your mobile app

1. Install MetaMask on your mobile at MetaMask.io

2. Open the mobile app and click on Import using Secret Recovery Phrase

3. Type in your 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase, separated with a space

4. Create a new password of min 8 characters
